Abel Liberia successfully conducted a two-day introductory beekeeping training in Gbalawein, WARCABA, Sinoe County, held from June 24–25, 2025. This training aimed to equip local farmers and youth with essential skills in apiculture, fostering opportunities for income generation and sustainable agriculture.

During the sessions, participants were introduced to the basics of beekeeping, including bee biology, hive management, and techniques for safe honey harvesting. The training also covered beeswax processing, colony maintenance, and methods to ensure the health and productivity of bee colonies.

Practical demonstrations allowed participants to gain hands-on experience with modern hives, emphasizing safety and best practices. Abel Liberia highlighted the role of bees in pollination, environmental sustainability, and boosting local livelihoods, inspiring attendees to pursue beekeeping as a viable business venture.

By the end of the two-day program, participants had acquired the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence needed to start their own beekeeping initiatives, contributing to the growth of the apiculture sector in Sinoe County. This training reflects Abel Liberia’s commitment to community empowerment, rural economic development, and sustainable agricultural practices.
