What is the Association of Beekeepers–Liberia (ABEL)?
ABEL is a nonprofit organization that promotes sustainable beekeeping across Liberia. We empower communities—especially women and youth—through training, hive support, environmental education, and market access.
Who can join ABEL?
Anyone interested in beekeeping can join! Whether you’re a farmer, student, entrepreneur, or community leader, ABL welcomes individuals and groups who want to learn and grow through beekeeping.
Do I need experience to become a beekeeper?
No experience is required. We offer beginner-friendly training and mentorship to help you get started safely and successfully.
